Two Lumps or Three?
Parasol in hand
Lemon tea from a jar
More sugar please
As I pass the bizarre
A tale of uncanny
A most bitter end
I swallowed a seed
And it choked off my wind!
My face shaded blue
In the heat of the day
I stumbled and fell
My drink flowing away
My parasol broke
A wind whisked it far
Lost one of my shoes
Got hit by a car…
(At least it knocked the seed loose)
Oh what a day
If I’d known you could bet
I’d have stayed safe at home
On the couch and just slept.
Yep!

I go home, get in my PH’s and drink cocoa & watch a Hallmark movie… (Hopefully one of the ones that doesn’t include crying)
They seem to get more frequent this time of the year…sounds like a very nice way to cope..many thanks!

Sometimes, we wish we had never ventured out the door in the morning.
At least you were spared from choking.
I think there are some days for us all when nothing goes right…many thanks!
Rachael
What fun in retrospect … but perhaps not while it was happening! Thanks for smile. (Saying that, I hope you are alright …)
Always glad to share a smile…and not to worry…all is well
